39 Creative Questions To Ask Your Clients

The harsh truth of writing for busy clients:  

➔Clients are busy with other aspects of their business so time is limited. 

➔When we ask questions or try to get input for writing posts, they may not have instant replies to all the questions.

➔When weekly calls are scheduled, it may not be the most ideal time for them to have a conversation. 

Why?

Running a business is a tiring job.

They are exhausted after a long day or a week. 

They may not be in the mood to speak to others for various reasons.

But how do we make sure clients are comfortable and we get our work done too?

✅Come up with 8-10 prompts and weave into a normal conversation so it doesn’t sound yet again like a discovery call. 

✅Weekly calls or WhatsApp messages or any other preferred mode of communication is important- let them treat us like a professional diary.

✅And also once in a while, ask your clients creative questions to elicit more interesting stories: 

1. If you were to describe yourself as an animal last week, what would it be? Why?

2. What’s your favourite ice cream and Why? Or what’s your most disliked ice cream and why?
